Millimeter of Mercury

A unit of air pressure measurement used in medicine and other fields.  It is the air pressure required to displace a column of mercury one millimeter high.  It is abbreviated mmHg or mm Hg.  It is also referred to as Torr although it is not identical mathematical.  One mmHg equals one Torr.  One Torr is 1/760 of atmospheric pressure
