The Sleep Center – Information for Patients
This website is designed to help you understand disorders of sleep. It has grown from its origin in 2002 until the present. Originally a tool for patients cared for in our facility, it has changed to a useful website to anyone with a disorder of sleep. Now that our clinical testing and treatments have closed, we are updating the site to meet our new goals and commitments.
- Educating patients and professionals about sleep disorders
- Improving sleep health in Arizona
- Contributing to the science of Sleep Medicine

You may find our Sleep Disorders Quiz helpful in pointing you in the right direction if you are unsure.
In January 2018, The Sleep Center and the medical practice of Robert G. Hooper ceased providing medical and testing services. Active patients (seen in the past 3 years) were mailed a notification with instructions for obtaining their records. If you wish to have a copy of the records information, one can be downloaded here. Further comments on the reasons for the change, written by Dr. Hooper, are also available.
We are proud to announce Dr. Hooper’s most recent publication on the relationship between sleep apnea and obesity. Visit the publication page on our website to view his latest contribution to the field of sleep medicine.
